Strategic Emotions

Leadership involves a good measure of frustration.  If you let it show, everyone will notice and react accordingly.  If your team becomes accustomed to seeing your emotions on your sleeve, you lose the effect of displaying them.  Even when you are furious, it is important not to flash your anger.  Why?  Because you will be frustrated and pissed off almost daily.  You need to save your displays of emotion for moments when they will be impactful and effective.  Choosing the right time is the trick.
